HoursThe Start/Finish Point will be open on both Saturday & Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. All participants must be off the trails not later than 3:00 p.m. |

RoutesThis Beautiful walk includes the Morro Bay Natural History Museum, Heron Rookery, shoreline parks, the vibrant Embarcadero, and historic Morro Rock. There are many shops and restaurants along the route. Trail rating 1+, not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers due to 2 sets of stairs. |

Host Location InformationHalfway between San Francisco and
Los Angeles, Morro Bay is located on the Central Coast of California, just a
few miles off the 101 Freeway and on the picturesque Highway 1. When you
arrive in Morro Bay, the first thing you notice is the landmark Morro

Refreshments/RestroomsWater and restrooms are available at the 2 Dogs' Café, Natural History Museum, Tidewell Park , the historic marker as well as many other locations along the embarcadero. |

MiscellaneousAn adult must accompany children under 12. Dogs must be on a leash and owners must clean up after their pets. California Golden Heritage Event: This walk includes the historic Morro Rock and qualifies as a California Golden Heritage Event. Your Sponsors: The SLO Soles (based in Templeton) is one of the newest volkssport clubs in California. Our application for AVA membership was granted in June of 2003. |
